We are a small community of believers located in Shallow Lake, Ontario, just outside Owen Sound, about 2.5 hours north of Toronto. We are an evangelical congregation that has been fully affirming for the last 4 years. We are seeking a full-time pastor who will focus on outreach/evangelism and child and youth work.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, community-oriented, and show concern for social needs and injustice. They must be able to guide people to achieve common goals, work with a wide variety of personalities and demonstrate concern for those outside the community of faith. They should be dependable, consistent, and keep a perspective on the whole life of the church. They must be a person of God, biblically based and scripturally driven (added), open to the Person and work of the Holy Spirit, focused on living life for Jesus.

Qualifications:

• Legally able to work in Canada
• Education in Theology or Biblical Studies, or equivalent life experience and/or knowledge
• Skilled in communicating the Gospel to people of all ages and stations
• Skilled in disciple making and equipping others for service
• Passionate about church building
